So, what happened?

Not to sound like we’re placing blame elsewhere, but Amazon Web Services (AWS) experienced widespread outages that day which resulted in a few hiccups. Once the outage was over, our engineers were able to quickly find and spotlight any issues experienced by our members.

Do I need to do anything?

Nope! We’ve resolved what happened and there is nothing you need to do.

What’s the story with my Watts?

We got you! The following updates will be completed and reflected in your account by the end of next week:

1) You will receive Bonus Watts for all of your linked devices, regardless if they automated or not during the event.

2) If you did not save energy and received negative Watts for the OhmHour event, the event will automatically be forgiven, and you will receive Bonus Watts for all of your linked devices.

3) If you saved energy during the OhmHour event on September 18th, in addition to earning the Bonus Watts for all linked devices, you will earn Watts based on your energy usage once we receive the updated data from your utility.

The event will not count towards your Status.

Keep in mind it often takes 3-5 days for the utilities to send an accurate update of your energy usage, so if by the end of Friday next week, you find that your dashboard does not reflect these changes, please reach back out, and we would be more than happy to help!

We deeply appreciate your commitment to our energy-saving events, and sharing feedback, so we can learn and grow together. As always, if you have questions please reach out to us at help@ohmconnect.com because we are here for you.
