The person who sends out all of our event notifications took the week off. Just kidding, although that’s what it felt like.
We were in the process of improving our notification system, and had a test event to review these updates. In classic Murphy's Law fashion, this test event caused a glitch in the system, sending unannounced AutoOhms to a selection of our members on Tuesday, July 25 and unannounced OhmHours to a selection of our members on Thursday, July 27.
Nope! We’ve resolved what happened and there is nothing you need to do.
We got you!
If you saved energy during either event, you’ll earn Watts as you normally would. Yay. And, if you didn’t save energy during the AutoOhm on July 25 or the OhmHour on July 27, all will be forgiven. Specifically:
You will not lose Watts.
Your Streak will not be broken.
The event will not count towards your Status.
We’ll also be awarding Bonus Watts for all of your connected devices for the AutoOhm on July 25 and the OhmHour on July 27. If they haven't reached you yet, you’ll see them in your account by the end of the week.
